Project description

Giant monsters take over historic buildings throughout the city, in four of Jerusalem’s central and iconic locations: municipality building 10 in Tzahal Square, the President’s House, the Montefiore windmill, and the “Golem” statue – commonly known as “the Monster” – in Kiryat HaYovel.
For two weeks over the Purim holiday, the monsters were placed on the roofs of the buildings, constituting huge and surprising figures in the city’s most familiar venues. Their purpose was to amuse and amaze passersby during the holiday, and to create a festive atmosphere.
Created in collaboration with: Designer Adi Anna Telezhynski (the Masked Singer)
